I truly believe our children are our future. I am passionate about reading and writing. I love math and science and enjoy social studies. I completed the first level of Orton Gillingham training and I am half way through LETRS training. I have previous experience as a long term substitute, an Americorps Math tutor, a Reading Interventionist teacher, a school social worker and a supervisor to educators pursuing teaching licensure in NJ. While I am not originally from Minnesota, my partner has roots in Minnesota. We farm in the Moose Lake area raising sheep, chickens, ducks, and a garden. We have three wonderful kids who are now young adults and each have their own unique gifts and interests. I look forward to working with your student as they grow and learn in 2nd grade and beyond.
