These applications are incredibly important—they help Moose Lake Community School receive critical federal and state funding that supports educational programs, services, and student opportunities.
Families who qualify may also gain access to additional benefits such as summer grocery benefits, utility discounts, and test fee waivers. Eligibility may be based on household income or participation in programs such as SNAP, MFIP, FDPIR, foster care, Head Start, homelessness, or migrant status.

📚 Back-to-School Conferences — September 3rd! 🫎💙
Moose Lake Elementary families, we’re excited to welcome you back as we kick off another great school year together!
Join us on September 3rd for Back-to-School Conferences. Families will have an opportunity to connect with teachers, complete beginning-of-the-year paperwork, and visit with our community partners.
Grades K–4: Families should sign up for an individual conference time with their child’s teacher.
Grades 5–6: Families will attend an orientation-style conference, followed by time to connect with teachers and ask questions.

📚🎉 Birthday Books are coming to Moose Lake Elementary! Each week, Mr. Borak will announce student birthdays—and half birthdays for our June, July, and August birthdays. Celebrating students can stop by the office and pick out a book to keep for their birthday! A huge thank you to Legacy of Excellence for generously donating the books and helping us celebrate our students while encouraging a love of reading. 💙📖 If you do not want your child to participate in the Birthday Books program, please let the elementary office know.
🎒 Welcome Back to School! Moose Lake Community School invites students, families, and our community to our Open House on Thursday, September 3rd! Elementary Open House Conferences will run from 12:45–6:30 PM, with the High School and Early Childhood Open House from 3:30–6:30 PM, 7th Grade Orientation at 4:30 PM in the Auditorium, and a bouncy house from 12:45–6:30 PM! We’re also excited to have community partners joining us from 3:30–6:30 PM to share local businesses, organizations, and services with our families.
