Mr. Robert Indihar
* * * Interim Superintendent Named The Moose Lake School Board held a Special Meeting on Monday, April 30 and offered current high school principal, Robert Indihar, the interim Superintendent position for the 2012-13 school year. Mr. Indihar accepted the offer with contract negotiations pending.
Rural Seat Belt Enforcement Buckle Up! What- Students will be involved in a "Buckle Up" campaign. Increased seat belt enforcement is scheduled for April 2, 4, and 5, 2012. Purpose- Eliminate unintentional death and injury in motor vehicle crashes. Goal- Improve seat belt compliance by all vehicle occupants through peer led educational efforts. Why- Most car crashes happen in outstate Minnesota where the seat belt use rate is only 80.3%. The majority of those who died sustained a serious life-changing injury in those crashes were not belted. Teens have the lowest seat belt compliance rate of any age group. Research shows the number one thing you can do to improve your chances in a car crash is buckle up!
Just Kids Dental An oral health program is available at our school. Tooth decay is the most prevalent childhood disease in our country today and a primary cause of school absenteeism.
