Located 40 miles from Duluth and 90 miles from the Twin Cities, Moose Lake offers the tranquility of the outdoors with easy access to the metro area. Moose Lake Community Schools serves the communities of Moose Lake, Kettle River, Sturgeon Lake and surrounding areas. We are pleased to be the school of choice for over 100 open enrollment students.

Wall of Fame Recipients Announced
We are excited to announce our first recipients of the Moose Lake Community School Wall of Fame Award. The recipients are:
1. Les Blacklock 2. Clayton Hartman 3. Stanford Dodge 4. Prudence Johnson 5. Annie Adamczak-Glavan
They will be recognized at a ceremony during halftime of the Rebel basketball game on Feb. 19th.
Good Things Happening
• Thank you to John Peters for donating $1500 to the school district. The funds will be used for a student scholarship and to purchase new band instruments.
• Moose Lake Community Schools was a recipient of the School Finance Award from the Minnesota Department of Education.
• Congratulations to hockey coach Sherm Liimatainen for being selected to receive the 3M Excellence in Coaching award at the Minnesota Wild Game on Friday, February 12, 2010.
