Art Matters!

Welcome To Moose Lake Fine Arts Department.  I have a  Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a Painting emphasis. I live in Superior Wisconsin and have a son Micky!  I am actively  involved in the arts through National Arts Education Association, Art Educators of Minnesota and I continue to paint all year round and sell my  art work.  Art is what I do! Being able to bring the arts to our future is one that I love doing and have for 10 years now.

Moose Lake’s New School To Feature Mosaics/Murals Made By Students And Community Members

Multimedia murals depicting themes of Sports, Academics and Fine Arts will adorn the entryway of the much anticipated new school currently in the construction process on County Highway 10.  Moose Lake Art teacher, Ms. Tracy Kill, is leading the project with help from local artists Bruce Nielsen, Patrick Ring and Tracy Kill.  We have received a grant from Arrowhead Regional Arts Council and will begin  in February and be installed in August 2017.

In addition to the murals, bench seats will also be hand crafted and covered with  tiles made by each of our students, including the Mini Moose Daycare participants.  Ms. Kill’s devotion and enthusiasm to this project is contagious as she is quick to point out, “...to have the students and community be able to leave their mark and be a part of the process is exciting!”
