My name is Ms. Erickson, and I am so happy to be a part of the team here as a special education teacher, working with our students with Emotional Behavior Disorders. I believe that every child deserves a safe and supportive space to learn and grow, and my goal is to create just that. I am a proud graduate of The College of St. Scholastica, where I developed my passion for putting kids and their individual needs first.
My teaching philosophy is centered around the idea of meeting each child where they are at—academically, emotionally, and socially. I'm dedicated to understanding each student's unique journey and providing the tools and support they need to navigate challenges and celebrate successes. It's a true privilege to be a part of their growth and watch them discover their potential! When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me spending time with my friends and family. I'm also proud to serve in the Air National Guard at the 148th Fighter Wing, which is another way I get to be a part of the community. |
