Special Education Parent Advisory Committee
The special education Parent Advisory Committee is an active
subcommittee of the Northern Lights Interagency Council. (NLIC) The
committee is comprised of parents of children with disabilities,
disability service personnel from counties and disability related agency
representatives.
The Parent Advisory Committee conducts a
minimum of 4 formal meetings each year Meeting time is used to plan
family activities; learn about the services provided by each related
service agency; and assist in the implementation of special education
regulations in schools. Parents from all Northern Lights Special
Education Cooperative member districts are welcome to attend.
